A Cuban business forum on biotechnology and health is getting ready today to take place during ExpoDubai 2020, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (Mincex) and the Chamber of Commerce.
The exchange will take place this Tuesday in the Cuban pavilion of the fair and will include a presentation by the head of the Mincex, Rodrigo Malmierca, entitled The business climate in Cuba: Opportunities for trade and investment.
In addition, Antonio Luis Carricarte, president of the Island’s Chamber of Commerce, and directors and specialists from the Cuban Medical Services and the BioCubaFarma Business Group will discuss who the business opportunities are in each space.
It will be an excellent opportunity to hold bilateral meetings between national and foreign businessmen from both sectors and explore trade and investment opportunities with the Caribbean nation, according to its organizers.
On the one hand, the Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos S.A. concludes a comprehensive offer for the export of those associated with health, whose business portfolio includes medical tourism, services abroad and organization of events.
Meanwhile, BioCubaFarma will address its experience in the production of medicines, equipment and high-tech services for the improvement of human health, the generation of exportable goods and services and the production of food.
This entity has 802 sanitary registrations abroad and exports its products to 48 countries.
During the rest of the week, the business roundtables will be held virtually, through the platform of the same name.
With the theme Connecting Minds, Building the Future, Expo Dubai 2020 is the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, and will keep its doors open until March 31, 2022.
