Cuba-Venezuela Bilateral Business Forum

In the context of the Second edition of the Cuba 2021 Business Forum, it was held today the Cuba-Venezuela Bilateral Business Forum, an event chaired by the Venezuelan side for Rander Peña, Vice minister of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Relations; Pilar Fernández, president of the Venezuela-Cuba Binational Chamber, and Guillermo Lara, President of the Foreign Trade Bank (BANCOEX). For the Cuban side chaired Roberto López, Vice minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment and Antonio Carricarte, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba.

During the meeting participated 20 Cuban companies. Both parties presented the exportable offers from their countries, specifically with products and services identified with potential for each market. Bancoex also presented a topic of great importance in bilateral trade, the logistics aspects of connectivity between Venezuela and Cuba.

This appointment represents the next level to strengthen commercial relations between the two countries in the new Cuban economic and commercial scenario that includes more than 700 Small and Medium–Sized Enterprises.
