We would like to draw the attention of our readers to events that have taken place in recent months which in different ways have an effect on the activity of our members.
The celebration in July of the Cuba-Venezuela Presidential Summit, a milestone in the consolidation of the Economic Union of both nations, certainly ranks first.
New projects in the capital’s Historical Center impact on the city’s social and cultural life, but also on the international tourism that visits the country and on the activities of numerous enterprises.
The 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Vietnam coincides with that of the signing of the first Commercial Agreement with that country, which is one of our main trade partners at present.
The Day of Cuba at World Expo Shanghai 2010 contributed to highlight our presence in that important universal meeting place.
Relevant scientific and professional congresses have been celebrated in the fields of commercial arbitration, orthopedics and human and animal health in general.
All these events have been reported in the following pages. I invite our associates and friends to read and reflect on them while we prepare to participate in the 28th Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2010).
We shall be meeting there!
