Cuba and Venezuela sign bilateral agreement for food production

The ministries of Agriculture of Cuba and Venezuela yesterday signed, in Havana, an agreement to promote bilateral development in food production from cooperation in the livestock, fish, cereal, legume, tubers and planting areas.

The agreement was reached at the XXI session of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Comprehensive Convention on Cuba-Venezuela Cooperation, chaired by the Antillean Deputy Prime Minister, Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, and the Executive Vice-President of the Bolivarian Republic, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, who assessed the challenges and challenges of collaboration during 2021 and the progress of the projects under implementation, marked by the political situation and the challenges imposed by COVID-19.
